The annual Relay For Life in the Metro will take place on June 7th!
The volunteer-led event will celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost to cancer, and raise funds to improve the lives of people with cancer and their families. There will be two events for people to join, one in the Northland and one in Lenexa. All are welcome to attend one or both!
In 2025, there will be more than 2 million new cancers diagnosed in the United States and 618,120 cancer deaths. Relay For Life has raised more than $6.8 billion to support these efforts since 1985, and the Relay for Life in the Metro hopes to add to that figure this year, working toward the American Cancer Society’s mission to end cancer as we know it, for everyone.
